ABOUT BOOK & BROOK ART HOUSE

Book & Brook Art House is a collaborative effort from
Tamara Niedzolkowski and Richard Amori.
The uniqueness of our art lies in the ability to freeze moments of time in urban environments through charcoal and graphite work, while expressing the allure of nature in watercolor and oil paintings.

What is the inspiration behind the name "Book and Brook"?
"Book" refers to our Detroit, Michigan studio, located in the historic Book Tower, built in 1926. The rhythms and energy of the city of Detroit are reflected in Richard's charcoal and graphite work.

"Brook" recalls our woodland retreat on Minister's Brook, in Westmore, Vermont. Tamara's deep connection to forest, land, and sea is revealed in her oil paintings, through her understanding of color and composition.
